Spider Stitch
SKILL LEVEL Very Easy or Beginner
MULTIPLES Any odd number + 2 chains
PROJECT IDEAS Blanket, scarf, hat, headband, towels
Another easy and beginner friendly stitch, the spider stitch creates texture using multiple basic stitches in the same space. If you can chain and make the single crochet, this one will be easy for you to master. This stitch pattern is basically a single crochet v-stitch. However, this stitch can be a bit tricky at first. The chain 1 space sometimes gets tucked between the single crochet stitches. But don’t worry, once you get the hang of it, it’s a snap!

Although, I have linked some different patterns here that use this stitch, I encourage you to try creating your own project. So, here is your chance to start with trying something small like a hat or scarf.
