Extended Half Double Crochet Stitch
SKILL LEVEL Very Easy/Beginner
MULTIPLES Any number of chains
PROJECT IDEAS Hat, scarf, blanket, dish clothes
The extended half double crochet (exhdc) is a great beginner stitch that is a simple modification of the Half Double crochet stitch. The modification to this stitch adds height, but still keeps it shorter than the double crochet stitch. This is a great stitch to use for garments as it gives a beautiful drape. If you already know the regular HDC stitch, this stitch will be pretty easy to learn as well.
