The trinity stitch is a fun and easy stitch to learn. It will add texture and interest to your project. The trinity stitch consists of chain stitches and single crochet decreases. This stitch gets its name because of the three vertical bars created in each of the stitches. It is cluster of single crochet stitches worked across 3 stitches also also known as the single crochet 3 together (sc3tog). However, once you get the rhythm of this stitch, it seems as easy as pie.

Because the trinity stitch lends itself to many different styles of patterns, the possibilities are endless. Although, I have linked some different patterns here that use this stitch, I encourage you to try creating your own project. So, here is your chance to start with trying something small like a hat or scarf.
