Double Crochet Cluster V-Stitch

PROJECT IDEAS Blanket, pot holders, dish clothes, scarves
The double crochet cluster v-stitch is a chunky stitch that has a strong look. This stitch is a one row repeat, therefore making it very repetitive and rhymical. The DC CL V-St. is constructed using clusters of double crochet clusters (dc2tog) stitches placed in a V shape. The placement of the clusters then create a beautiful textured fabric. Another great thing about this stitch is that it lends itself to using with a single color or multiples colors. Finally, one of the best things about this stitch is it looks nice in any size yarn and makes a reversible fabric. Because of these characteristics, it is great for modern blankets and throws. This dense fabric creates a very warm and cozy feel.

Although, I have linked some different patterns here that use this stitch, I encourage you to try creating your own project. So, here is your chance to start with trying something small like a hat or scarf.
