The Modern Double Crochet V-Stitch is a great beginner stitch that adds beauty and texture to any project. Use this stitch for blankets, hats, scarves, and home decorations. MODERN DOUBLE CROCHET V-STITCH
(No Chain Space)
The Modern Double Crochet V-Stitch is made up of 2 DC in the same space.
FOUNDATION CHAIN
any even number
ROW 1
In the 4th chain from hook, work 2 DC. *Skip next chain, 2 DC in next chain. Repeat from * across to last 2 CH, skip next chain, 1 DC in last CH. CH 3 and turn.
ROW 2
Work 2 DC in the space between the second and third DC posts, splitting the pair to form a “V”. *Skip 2 stitches, then work 2 DC in between the next pair of DC from the previous row. Repeat from * across. To end the row, work 1 Dc in the top of the turning chain. CH 3 and turn.
REPEAT ROW 2
