Sedge Stitch
SKILL LEVEL Very Easy or Beginner
MULTIPLES Multiples of 3 + 1 plus 2
PROJECT IDEAS Blanket, headband, hat, towel, clothes
The ever popular sedge stitch is a great beginner stitch. You only need to know how to make the single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet stitches. Therefore, any beginner can make this stitch and create a beautiful work of crochet. In other words, if you are tired of just using the same stitch to create a work of art, try your hand at this great stitch.
Not only is it very beginner friendly, but it adds texture and dimension to your project. Of course, it is the texture created by this stitch that makes it so popular among crochet crafters.
